MATERIALS
SS (stainless steel), MS/carbon steel and exotic materials such as copper, nickel, duplex, super duplex, aluminium and Inconel may be specified where suitable for the process, mechanical design and fabrication requirements. A material is not suitable for every fluid or temperature. Grade, corrosion allowance, welding, testing and documentation are finalized with the buyer. Titanium pressure vessels are specified in the required titanium grade; the other material options are not substitutions for titanium construction.
PREPARE YOUR RFQ
For air receivers, pressure vessels, storage tanks and reactors: working/gross volume, process fluid, operating/design pressure and temperature, vacuum requirement, material grade, nozzle arrangement, supports and inspection scope. For reactors also provide viscosity, agitation, heating/cooling duty and utilities.
For ribbon/conical blenders and paddle/plough shear/high speed mixers: batch weight, bulk density or liquid density, viscosity, particle size, moisture, mixing result/time, working fill, material grade, finish, discharge, drive/control and hazardous-area requirements.
For flow plates: P&ID or routing layout, number of ports, pipe sizes, valve/connection types, process pressure/temperature, material and finish. Flow plates provide fluid-routing/changeover arrangements between process lines, tanks and cleaning circuits.
For dust collection systems and ducting: dust properties, air flow, collection points, required static pressure, duct layout, dimensions, material, filter/discharge arrangement and applicable fire/explosion safeguards.
For industrial hoppers: usable capacity, bulk density, powder flow characteristics, outlet size, feeding method, material/finish, installation height and support/load requirements.
For heat exchangers: both fluids, flow rates, inlet/outlet temperatures, duty, fouling allowance, pressure drop, design pressure/temperature and material grades.
For spray dryers: feed composition, solids content, feed rate, required final moisture, product heat sensitivity, atomization preference, utilities and powder collection requirements.
For fluid bed dryers: product/particle properties, batch or continuous throughput, starting/final moisture, allowable temperature, heating utilities, material and containment requirements.
For brewery equipment and food/pharma systems: process flow, throughput, vessel quantities, contact material/finish, cleaning requirements, utilities, automation and documentation scope.
